The BC Food Security Gateway maintains a list of grants focused on food security initiatives both regionally and provincially.
Vancouver Coastal Health offers small grants that build community capacity to implement the North Shore Food Charter NOTE: this opportunity is only open to projects occurring on the North Shore.
Acceptable projects should be related to food access, capacity development, food security strategies and food security policies (i.e. grocery store food purchases are not acceptable). Typically there is a spring call for applications with funding amounts of up to $2,000.
